We are opposed to the Health Professions and Occupations Act
The HPOA is legislation that will come into force April 1, 2026. However, a recent ongoing survey of health care professionals indicates that of 744 professionals surveyed, 37.7% plan to leave BC or stop practicing their profession as a result of the changes.
